The Waipapa River is a small river in the Far North District in the region Northland on the North Island of New Zealand .
It rises about 15 km west of Kerikeri and flows into Hokianga Harbor about 20 km southeast of it . Right tributaries are the Magapa River, Mangapukahukahu Stream, and Kauriwhati Stream, left tributaries are the Pukatea Stream, Te Rereatuoro Stream, Whakanekeneke River, and Utakura River.
The only place on the river is Rangiahua just before the mouth, where State Highway 1 crosses the river.
