Waldemar "Waldo" Theophil Fink (born May 9, 1883 in Bern ; † May 20, 1948 ibid) was a Swiss landscape painter , best known for his mountain landscapes in the style of Hans Thomas .

Life

Waldemar Fink first completed an apprenticeship as a decorative painter . He then continued his studies in Munich at the Weinhold-Schildknecht art school. From 1909 to 1922 Fink lived in Adelboden and Bern, from where he visited the Swiss Alpine regions in order to capture them in picturesque mountain landscapes. He also worked as a decorative painter.
