Alina Savin
Alina Vera Savin (born March 1, 1988 in Buşteni ) is a former Romanian bobsledder .
Savin also did athletics and was registered for the 400 m race at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2005 in Lignano Sabbiadoro, but could not compete. In 2006 she started bobsleigh and a year later she was accepted into the national team and competed in the European Cup, and from 2008 also in the World Cup.
In 2010 Savin took part in the Winter Olympics. As a pusher for Carmen Radenovic , she reached 15th place in Vancouver with the Romanian two-man bobsleigh. At the European Championships in 2011 in Winterberg, the two landed in 12th place and at the World Championships shortly afterwards at Königssee the Romanians were 19th in the two-man bobsleigh and 15th in the team competition.
