Waldemar Holberg
Waldemar Holberg (* 29. May 1883 in Copenhagen , Denmark ; † 16th March 1947 ) was a Danish boxer in the welterweight division .
Professional career
He lost his debut fight on December 1, 1908 against Jim Smith on points. On January 1, 1914, Holberg won the linear world title when he was able to defeat Ray Bronson over 20 laps on points.
However, he already lost this title in his next fight on the 24th of the same month to Tom McCormick in a battle scheduled for 20 rounds by disqualification in the 6th round.
Waldemar Holberg ended his career in 1921.
