Waldemar Unger

Waldemar Unger (born September 12, 1881 in Dresden , † April 1, 1961 in St. Pölten ) was an Austrian politician and lawyer. Unger was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1934 to 1938 .

Unger went to Vienna in 1891 and graduated from high school. He studied law at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in 1907. He then did an internship and passed the bar exam. Between 1914 and 1918 he did military service in World War I, and from 1919 he worked as an independent lawyer. During the time of Austrofascism Unger represented the state of the liberal professions between November 22, 1934 and March 12, 1938 in the Lower Austrian state parliament. In 1938 he was arrested and banned from working. After the Second World War, he worked as a lawyer again from 1945 and 1954.
