Waldemar Woehl
Waldemar Woehl (born August 31, 1902 ; † 1976 ) was a German editor , composer and music teacher .
Life
Waldemar Woehl - father of the organ builder Gerald Woehl - is known for his numerous editions of baroque chamber and orchestral music, especially in the Hortus Musicus series by Bärenreiter . In 1930 he published the first German recorder school.
Waldemar Woehl lived in Waldböckelheim . His grave is there.
