Waldemar Wolf

Waldemar Wolf (born September 16, 1929 in Leina ; † June 10, 2001 ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Waldemar Wolf attended elementary school from 1936 to 1944 and then did an apprenticeship as a locomotive assistant in the Gotha Reichsbahnbetriebswerk. In 1947 he passed the journeyman's examination as a locksmith and worked in 1947/48 as a locomotive and engine locksmith at the Gotha Reichsbahnwerk. From 1949 to 1951 he worked as a locksmith, from 1951 to 1955 as a calculator in Lowa Gotha. From 1955 to 1960 he was a fitter at Adam Opel AG in Rüsselsheim . In 1959 he attended a foreman course and was foreman at Adam Opel AG from 1960. Since 1974 he worked as a civil servant in a Hessian ministry.

Waldemar Wolf was married and had two children.

politics

Waldemar Wolf was a member of the SPD and worked there in various board positions. Since 1960 he has been a member of the sub-district executive committee of the SPD Main-Taunus and since 1963 first chairman of the SPD's Hochheim association. In Hochheim am Main he was a city councilor from 1962 to 1968, where he was parliamentary group chairman from 1964 to 1968 and an honorary city councilor from 1968 to 1974. From 1960 he was a member of the Main-Taunus district council and from December 1, 1970 to November 30, 1974 a member of the Hessian state parliament.
