from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Walderada (* 530 , † in the 6th century ) was the daughter of the King of the Longobards , Wacho from the Lethinger dynasty . She grew up in the Pannonian Plain and married the Frankish king Theudebald around the year 554 . When he died in 555, Walderada married Chlothar I , Theudebald's successor and great-uncle, around 555 . However, it was violated by this because the church objected to the marriage.

Then the first known Bavarian Duke , the Agilolfinger, took Garibald I. Walderada as his wife. She had four children with him: Tassilo I , Gundoald , Grimoald I and Theudelinde .
