Forest foot

The forest foot was a length measure and a measure used for forestry only to measure wood. The measure was also the basis for square forest feet . The measure applied in the Principality of Saxony-Koburg and Gotha with its capital Gotha and in Trier . This forest foot in Gotha was originally the same as the Leipzig factory shoe.

Here the factory shoe had 130.22 Parisian lines and 293.75 millimeters.
