Building description and interior
The church is a small house in rural Baroque classicism , with a clapboard gable roof and a small roof turret . The interior is a lowered pointed barrel , the apse in three lancet caps is separated by a powerful arch (triumphal arch) and is now barred. Here hangs a picture of Maria Hilf , alongside St. Rupert and St. Virgil , the two Salzburg diocesan saints.
The vault is adorned by four secci as imitation of framed pictures, the Holy Family with Joseph the Worker , the Holy Family in Egypt , a donor image of the apparition of Mary , and a Mary with the child and lamb , in the background a lightning bolt that casts a wolf (?) slays, all by experienced rural hand. There are small passion paintings applied to the side of the wall strips. A tape adorns the belt arch:
- He rests small in your arms, // love's greatest hero. // Mary the hereditary, // Jesus the consolation of the world.
The forged lattice in scrollwork with a gold-plated cross and number is dated 1979.
On the back wall there is a panel of Mary in anticipation and an oil painting of the Coronation of Mary and fourteen helpers in need .
The chapel is a listed building .
history
The chapel had the farmer's daughter Maria Dengg vom Unterhaslacher built in 1833 with help from the neighborhood as thanks for her recovery from illness.
In 2002 the chapel was completely covered by Hurricane Uschi and the shingle roof was reconstructed in an exemplary manner (carpentry Dankl, Sbg. Handwerkspreis 2004).
