Valery Evdokymov

Valery Volodymyrowytsch Evdokymow ( Ukrainian Валерій Володимирович Євдокимов ; born November 17, 1969 in Rivne , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian major general and head of the Slushba sownischnjoji roswidky Ukrajiny , the Ukraine foreign service. In this capacity he is a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine .

Life

Valeriy Evdokymov graduated from the Institute of Border Troops of Ukraine , the National Academy of Security Service of Ukraine and the Kiev-Mohyla Commercial School.

He served in the Border Guard and State Security Service of Ukraine. For his work in the hostilities in eastern Ukraine , he was awarded the Order of Daniel of Galicia and the President of Ukraine's Prize for Participation in the Counter-Terrorism Operation. Since 2013 he was the head of administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and received the rank of major general .

He was appointed Deputy Head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service on July 9, 2019, and Head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service on September 20, 2019, by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi .
