The fulling mill is a restored fulling mill in Frankenberg (Eder) . It is on the cycle path from Frankenberg to Edersee , a section of the Ederauen cycle path . It was first mentioned in a document as early as 1358. In the Middle Ages, the cloths were milled there for the cloth makers , that is, the fabrics were compressed and felted.
In the years 2007 to 2009 the property was extensively renovated. In the former mill building, which was built in half-timbered construction, there is now a restaurant with a café, a beer garden and a playground are right next to it. The undershot water wheel is intact and is usually also illuminated in the evening hours.
