Wallace Arthur

Wallace Arthur (born March 30, 1952 in Belfast ) is a zoologist specializing in evolutionary developmental biology . He was Professor of Evolutionary Biology at the University of Sunderland , England , but is now Professor of Zoology and Director of the Zoological Institute at the National University of Ireland, Galway . He is one of the editors of the journal Evolution and Development and has authored several books on evolutionary developmental biology, including one on the origin of the structure of animal bodies.
