Walter Kertz Medal
The Walter Kertz Medal is a scientific prize awarded by the German Geophysical Society e. V. (DGG) is awarded.
The prize is named after the Braunschweig university professor and author Walter Kertz (1924–1997). The medal is awarded every two to three years at irregular intervals. Since 2000 it has been awarded “for outstanding interdisciplinary achievements in the interest and for the promotion of geophysics”.
