Walter Witzenmann Prize

The Walter Witzenmann Prize is a German science award .

The prize of 6000 euros was in 1997 by the Pforzheimer entrepreneur Walter Witzmann to promote cultural studies offspring in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg donated .

“The award is given to scientific work in the field of cultural studies that has been accepted as a scientific achievement by a university or a research institute in the state of Baden-Württemberg and published or submitted for publication in the past two years. The proposed researchers should not be older than 35 years. "

The annual award ceremony takes place by the philosophical-historical class of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences .
