Walter Augustin Villiger
Walter Augustin Villiger (born December 25, 1872 in Lenzburg , Switzerland ; † February 5, 1938 in Jena , Germany ) was a German-Swiss astronomer and engineer at Carl Zeiss . Among other things, he discovered the asteroid (428) Monachia on November 18, 1897 while he was working in Munich.
The asteroid (1310) Villigera is named after him.
