Walter Back

Walter Back (* in the 14th century; † 1466 in Cologne ) was a priest and official in Cologne.

The Dr. jur. utr. and Mag. art. was pastor of Zonhoven in the diocese of Liège . Since 1455 he has been an advocate of the Cologne Curia, he was also a professor at the old University of Cologne , whose rector he became in 1459. At the same time vicar to St. Marien ( Antwerp ), canon to St. Maria ad Gradus (Cologne) and official of the Cologne cathedral dean , the Cologne archbishop Ruprecht von der Pfalz appointed him official of the archbishopric of Cologne in 1464.
