Walter Banse

Walter Banse (born August 14, 1934 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The midfielder Walter Banse started his career at unity Wilhelmsburg and moved in 1956 to Altona 93 . There he completed a total of 113 games in the first-class Oberliga Nord by 1963 . In 1958 he was third in the table with his team and in the 1959/60 season he completed all season games. Three years later, Banse qualified with the Altona team for the newly created, second-class Regionalliga Nord . However, he left Altona with an unknown destination. Until 1970 he played for Viktoria Georgsmarienhütte from the district of Osnabrück , before he met once in four games for the regional league club Lüner SV in the 1970/71 season . From 1971 he let his career end with TSG Harsewinkel .
