Walter Bolz

Walter Bolz (born June 15, 1906 in Hohensalza ; † May 1, 1953 ) was a German film producer .

Life

After training as a businessman, Bolz initially worked as a bank clerk. He came to film as an accountant and then took on various tasks such as film manager, production assistant and unit manager.

In the 1940s, he was involved in the last two films with Zarah Leander made before 1945 as production manager . After the end of the war he was one of the founders of DEFA and again worked as a production manager for the southern German ndf .
