Walter Busch

Walter Busch-Bernard (born August 7, 1946 in Hemer ; † March 28, 2013 in Verona ) was a German literary scholar .

Career

Walter Busch studied German-language literature and philosophy at the University of Marburg . In 1981 he was in Marburg with the work Critique of Caesarism and Epic History. On the development of Bertolt Brecht's political aesthetics 1936-1940. to the Dr. phil. PhD. In 1989 he completed his habilitation in Modern German Literature.

In 1987 he was appointed Associate Professor of German Language and Literature in Rome. Since 1989 he has been Associate Professor of German Language and Literature at the University of Verona ; Full Professor since 2005.

Busch's main areas of work were modern poetry, exile literature and literary theory .
