from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Theodor Robert Walter Findeisen (born July 23, 1909 in Hamburg ; † May 9, 1945 in Prague ) was a German meteorologist .

On July 25, 1931, he published his first dissertation at the University of Hamburg on the subject of measurements of the size and number of fog droplets to study the coagulation of inhomogeneous fog , and in 1937 he published his second dissertation at the University of Berlin on the subject of new ways of meteorological moisture measurement .

From 1940 he was director at the German Weather Bureau in Prague . The focus of his work was in flight meteorology and the exploration of clouds; see also Bergeron-Findeisen process .
