Walter Gloy

Walter Gloy (born February 9, 1886 in Hamburg ; † August 8, 1953 there ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

After attending primary school , Gloy became a seaman. He acquired an officer and a captain's patent for long voyages. From 1914 to 1918 Gloy took part in the First World War, in which he was used in the outpost, mine and submarine service.

In the 1920s, Gloy joined the NSDAP, in which he took over tasks as the district leader of the Hamburg district.

On September 27, 1931, Gloy became a member of the Hamburg Parliament . A few months after the National Socialist seizure of power in the spring of 1933, he was appointed to the Hamburg State Council on August 22, 1933 . On May 1, 1938, he was appointed councilor .

From March 29, 1936 until the end of Nazi rule in spring 1945, Gloy was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , in which he represented constituency 34 (Hamburg).
