Walter Hauptmann (politician)

Walter Hauptmann (born July 6, 1909 in Niederplanitz , † April 11, 1988 in Bremen ) was a Bremen politician ( DP , GDP , FDP ). He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Hauptmann completed an apprenticeship as an electrical engineer. He was a professional soldier from 1927 and served in World War II . In 1947 he became an employee and later a civil servant in Bremen.

politics

Hauptmann became a member of the NSDAP in 1940 .
After the war he became a member of the DP. He was in the GDP from 1961 to 1963 and then in the FDP.

From 1959 to 1971 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for around 12 years and served in various deputations of the citizenship. From 1967 to 1971 he was deputy leader of the FDP parliamentary group.
