Walter Leder ( 1947 - July 17, 2012 ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Career

Leder completed his law studies with a doctorate. He then worked for the Association of Cities and Towns in North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1978 he came to Brühl as a treasurer and was city ​​director there from June 9, 1990 . After the abolition of the municipal dual leadership in North Rhine-Westphalia, he remained in office temporarily and resigned on February 29, 1996. On March 1, 1996, he was appointed commercial and legal managing director of the Society for Plant and Reactor Safety (GRS) and held this office until December 31, 2005.

He was a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in North Rhine-Westphalia .

He died in July 2012 while on a hiking holiday in Carinthia .
