Walter Müller (game designer)

Walter Müller (* 1959 in Kempten (Allgäu) ) is a German game designer and owner of the game publisher Walter Müller's Spielewerkstatt .

On the occasion of the 1974 World Cup, he developed the game of board football , which he has been producing himself since 1984. In 1977, Müller took part in an ASS game invention competition. In 1988 a toy shop was opened in Kempten. In addition to his own games, Müller also published two games by other authors in his game publisher. His games favorites and duck rally were on the shortlist for game of the year in 1990 and 1992, respectively . The game he produced, Save Yourself Who Can , achieved 5th place in the 1994 German Games Prize . A total of three games from Walter Müller's game workshop were among the top ten places at the German Games Prize.

Walter Müller is married and has three children. The trained locksmith works as a caretaker in a parish center. Since 1990 he has organized board soccer tournaments all year round.
