Walter Rösch

Walter Rösch (born August 29, 1903 in Thannhausen , † December 19, 1977 in Dachau ) was a German lawyer .

Career

Walter Rösch joined the Bavarian judicial service in 1929 and was appointed second public prosecutor in Nuremberg in 1930 and a local court advisor in 1932. He worked as a local judge in Nuremberg, Schwabach and Bad Tölz and finally from 1933 to 1939 at the Munich Local Court. From 1939 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier and then remained in captivity until May 21, 1946. On October 9 of the same year, Walter Rösch was appointed to the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice . In 1947 he was there senior government councilor and in 1954 Ministerialrat. From 1954 to 1959 he was a member of the Criminal Law Commission in the Federal Ministry of Justice . On July 1, 1962, he was appointed President of the Bavarian Supreme Court . He held this office until he retired on August 31, 1969.

During his studies he became a member of the AGV Munich .
