Walter Schönenberger (forest scientist)

Walter Schönenberger (* 1944 ) is a Swiss forest scientist .

Life

Schoenberger was in 1978 at the University of Freiburg with a thesis on the ecology of the natural regeneration of spruce and mountain pine in avalanche paths in the northern foothills doctorate . He worked at the Federal Institute for Forest Research . In his most famous book he deals with the hurricane Vivian (2002/3).
