Walter Seelbach (born February 4, 1900 in Geisweid , Siegen district ; † July 16, 1970 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1950 to 1958 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Walter Seelbach attended elementary school and then a secondary school until he graduated from high school. He did 6 months of military service and then worked as a volunteer at a major bank branch. He completed his law studies at the universities of Frankfurt and Marburg with a legal traineeship and a doctorate in 1924. The following year he joined his father's company, a galvanizing and sheet metal factory.

Seelbach joined the CDU in 1945 and became a member of the CDU district association committee for Siegen city ​​and country. In 1946 he became a member of the district council of the district of Siegen. Seelbach was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate of the CDU in constituency 128 (Siegen-Stadt and -Land-West) in the second and third electoral terms. He was an MP from July 5, 1950 to July 12, 1958.
