Walter Sinn

Walter Sinn (born June 10, 1965 in Karlsruhe ) is a German business economist and management consultant. Since June 1, 2014, he has headed Bain & Company's business in Germany.

Life

Sinn studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and at the École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales (ESSEC) in Paris . He began his professional career at Deutsche Bank.

Sinn has been working in management consultancy since the 1990s and has been with the management consultancy Bain & Company since April 2011. There he started as head of the banking practice group in Germany and Switzerland. Since June 1, 2014 he has been managing their business in Germany as Managing Partner. Sinn primarily advises his bank clients on important strategic issues , major transformation programs and post- merger integration projects. He succeeded Rolf-Magnus Weddigen. He has been a member of the Global Board of Directors of Bain & Company since 2019 .

Sinn is the author of numerous studies and guest articles. He is a member of the juries of the business development program "Supermaster" of Wirtschaftswoche and the Game Changer Award. He is married, has four children and lives in Frankfurt am Main .

In 2019 he received the “Global Leaders in Consulting” award, which Consulting Magazine gives to “the world's best consultants”.
