Walter Tannemann

Walter Tannemann (born May 23, 1928 ) is a former German football goalkeeper who rose to the Oberliga West in 1951 with Meidericher SV .

Career

Tannemann came from Meidericher SV's own youth and was in the squad for the 2nd League West in the 1949/50 season . This represented the top division below the Oberliga West in the then still regionally limited league system. In the competition with Erwin Pajonk , Tannemann initially took the regular place in the goal with 20 appearances (1 goal), but had to join his teammate in the following season 1950/51 nine other appeals in the gate mostly give way. The team succeeded during this year in the targeted promotion to the league.

After promotion, Pajonk continued to be preferred until he was out due to injury in the spring of 1952. Then Tannemann took his place and made his debut on March 9, 1952 in a 1: 2 defeat against Prussia Münster in the first division. He also played the next game, but was then replaced by Wilhelm Faust . At the end of the season 1951/52 he left the MSV, for which he had been on the field in two league games and 30 second division games.

In 1952 Walter Tannemann moved to VfB Bottrop , for whom he also played in 1963.
