Walter Vogt (politician)

Walter Vogt (born November 28, 1947 in Grabs ) is a Liechtenstein politician (VU). From 2001 to 2005 he was a member of the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein .

biography

Vogt grew up in Balzers and completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter . He then went to an evening school in St. Gallen to train as a master carpenter and took over the carpenter's workshop founded by his grandfather Andreas. In 1989 he founded a company for window technology.

In the 2001 state elections, Vogt successfully ran for the Fatherland Union (VU) in the Oberland constituency and was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein from 2001 to 2005. During this time he was temporarily a member of the business audit commission and the state committee. He has chaired the Board of Directors of Liechtenstein Tourism since 2008.

Vogt is married and has four children.
