The lunar crater Walther is an old impact crater in the southern highland regions of the moon. The western edge touches Deslandres crater . To the northeast lies the Aliacensis and southwest the irregular crater Nonius .

The crater rim is badly eroded by many small impacts. The crater floor was also reshaped by subsequent impacts. In the north-western quadrant there is a central mountain, which has also been overlaid by smaller impacts.
