Walther Heinrich Vogt
Walther Heinrich Vogt (born June 4, 1878 in Breslau ; died September 4, 1951 in Kiel ) was a German Germanic and Scandinavian Medievalist . He received his doctorate in 1903 from the Silesian Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Breslau, in 1921 he received his habilitation. From 1921 to 1946 he was Director of German Philology, Literary Studies and Nordic Philology at the Nordic Institute at Kiel University.
