Walther Schoenborn
Joachim Carl Walther Schoenborn , also Walter Schoenborn , (born July 19, 1883 in Seebad Neuhäuser , † May 7, 1956 in Kiel ) was a German law scholar and constitutional law teacher.
Schoernborn, son of the surgeon Karl Schönborn , received his doctorate in 1906 at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and habilitated there in 1908. After a three-year stay in Constantinople , he became an associate professor in Heidelberg in 1915. In 1919 he became a full professor for constitutional and international law and in 1920 he moved to the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . From 1934 he headed the Institute for International Law.
Schoenborn was a founding member of the Association of German Constitutional Law Teachers .
