Waltraud Elsner

Waltraud Elsner (* 1931 ) is a German volunteer . She lives in Karlstadt .

Career

Elsner worked as a medical-technical assistant . In 1987 she founded a contact group for people with multiple sclerosis in the district of Main-Spessart under the umbrella of the German Multiple Sclerosis Society in Karlstadt and has been its chairman ever since. The group now has more than 250 people, and its catchment area extends far beyond the district.

Since 1991 she has organized a seminar on multiple sclerosis once a year, for which she wins over neurologists, doctors and scientists. In 2001, together with the Main-Spessart Therapy Center in Gemünden, she founded a sports program for people with MS, and later sports groups in Marktheidenfeld.
