Ignace Bessi Dogbo

Ignace Bessi Dogbo (born August 17, 1961 in Niangon-Adjamé , Ivory Coast ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Katiola .

Life

Ignace Bessi Dogbo received on 2 August 1987 the Bishop of Yopougon , Laurent Akran Mandjo , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 19, 2004, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Katiola. The bishop of Yopougon, Laurent Akran Mandjo, ordained him episcopal on July 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Abidjan , Joseph Yapo Aké , and the emeritus bishop of Katiola, Jean-Marie Kélétigui . The inauguration took place on July 10, 2004.
