Wang Xing ( Chinese : 王兴; born February 18, 1979 in Longyan ) is a Chinese billionaire and entrepreneur . He is the board member of Meituan-Dianping .

Wang was born in Longyan , Fujian , China in 1979 and graduated from Beijing Tsinghua University in 2001 . In 2010 he founded the company "Meituan", which merged with "Dianping" in 2015 to form "Meituan-Dianping".

Forbes named him third on the Forbes 40 under 40 list in 2018. Forbes estimated its net worth at approximately $ 4.9 billion in April 2019.
