Wang Yan (Southern Qi Dynasty)
Wang Yan ( Chinese 王 琰 , W.-G. Wang Yen ; approx. 454? - 520?) Was a Chinese scholar at the time of the Southern Qi Dynasty (479–502). Wang came from Taiyuan 太原 (now Taiyuan , Shanxi Province ). He is known for his collection of stories " Reports from the Dark Realm " 冥 祥 記 / 冥 祥 记 , Míngxiáng jì , Ming-hsiang chi .
