The religions of mankind

The Religions of Mankind is a series of books published by Kohlhammer Verlag in Stuttgart since 1960 , in which the broadest possible coverage of the larger religions is sought. The series, made up of contributions from international experts, was founded by Christel Matthias Schröder (1915–1996) and is currently being edited by Peter Antes , Burkhard Gladigow , Martin Greschat and Jörg Rüpke . A revised edition has now been published for individual volumes. The book series is designed to be 36 volumes. The conception of the work announced in early volumes of the work was not retained in all points.
