Wanjiru Kinyanjui

Wanjiru Kinyanjui (born in Nairobi in 1958 ) is a Kenyan writer , screenwriter and director .

life and work

Wanjiru Kinyanjui first studied German and English literature in Berlin before moving to the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin , where she was born in 1987. In 1994 she completed her thesis for the film academy with The Battle for the Sacred Tree . In 2011 Wanjiru Knyanjui made an appearance in the documentary The Story of Auma Obama .

In addition to her own artistic activity, Wanjiru Kinyanjui teaches film production at Kenyatta University .
