The coat of arms of the city of Aranos is the official city coat of arms of the Namibian city of Aranos .

The coat of arms is flanked by the text Aranos Council at the top. At the bottom is the banner with the motto Unity in Diversity ( German unity through diversity ). The shield is divided into two parts. In the upper third there is a camel thorn tree against a blue background. The camel thorn stands for strength and resistance against difficult times. Resistance to the nature of the Kalahari . The tree also symbolizes shade, food and the beauty of flora and faunathe city. The blue background symbolizes the sky. The lower two thirds of the shield are covered by a brown-yellow background, which symbolizes the dunes of the Kalahari and an aloe . The dunes stand for the unique aesthetic of impressing people. In addition, the dunes symbolize the desert and survival in it. The aloe represents the strength of the people of Aranos during apartheid , racism and discrimination and the health and survival that was gained.
