Warheit is the project founded in Frankfurt am Main in 2003 by rappers Azad , Jeyz , Sezai, Chaker, Lunafrow, Jonesmann and Real Jay. The project aims to draw attention to grievances in society with socially critical texts. The sound carriers will be released on Azad's Bozz Music label.
history
Azad and six other rappers merged in 2003 under the name Warheit . Part of the group was already represented on Azad's album "Life" with the title Unstoppable . A short time after the founding, Real Jay, Lunafrow and Jonesmann separated from the group for different reasons.
After a guest appearance on the "Bozz-Music Sampler Vol.1", which contains two tracks by the group, they released the joint album Betonklassik in 2007, produced by Blanco, M3, Noyd, phreQuincy, Shuko and Sti . The previously released single Hell on Earth reached number 85, the album itself number 47 in the charts.
Due to the unsatisfactory sales of the album Betonklassik , Chaker and Sezai decided to give up their work as rappers. Azad showed understanding for the behavior of the musicians: “ I understand the boys completely, because they have families, Sezai has a wife and children who have to eat, and Chaker also has to make ends meet. When you have no way out, you have to make a decision. "
