Warnakulasurya Arachchige Tharusha Rangana , also known as Warnakulasuriya Arachchige Tharusha Rangana , (born May 18, 1982 ) is a Sri Lankan football player .

Tharusha Rangana, who attended Veluwana Vidyalaya Rangana School (Weluwana College), began his career at Wanathamulla Youth SC and was later signed by the top club Ratnam SC Colombo . Tharusha Rangana was still the team's leading player there in 2012.
National team
The midfielder is a member of the Sri Lankan national soccer team , for which he played in several junior teams from the age of 16. He belonged to both the U-16, the U-19 and the U-23. In December 2005, the Daily Mirror reported on the upcoming international debut of Tharusha Rangana in the Sri Lankan national team supervised by Sampath Perera at the SAAF Gold Cup against the Pakistani selection as a replacement for Chathura Maduranga, who had a knee injury .
He also took part in the 2008 AFC Challenge Cup with the national team. At this tournament he wore the shirt number 29.
