The Warning Glacier (English for Warning glacier is) a glacier on the Pennell Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the west side of the Adare Peninsula , it flows steeply into Robertson Bay , which it reaches 6 km north of Nameless Glacier .
Participants in the British Southern Cross Expedition (1898-1900) under the direction of the Norwegian polar explorer Carsten Egeberg Borchgrevink mapped it. Borchgrevink named it so because strong winds from the south in the base camp of the expedition at Cape Adare were always announced by snow swirls from this glacier into Robertson Bay.
