Warren Publishing

Warren Publishing was an American magazine publisher that existed from 1957 to 1983.

The publishing house was founded in 1957 by James Warren (* 1930) in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . The film magazine Famous Monsters of Filmland was published for the entire duration of the publishing house . From 1960 the satirical magazine Help! added. From 1964, Creepy and from 1966, Eerie, two horror comic magazines came into the program. In 1967 the publisher moved to New York City . From 1969 the comic magazine Vampirella was published, in 1974 The Spirit was published as a magazine series. From 1978 the science fiction comic magazine was published in 1984 and 1994 respectively .
