Wartislaw († 1414/1415)

Wartislaw (* around 1398 ; † between November 1414 and August 1415 ) was a prince from the Greifenhaus ruling house in Pomerania .

He was the eldest son of Duke Wartislaw VIII , who ruled in Pomerania-Wolgast , and his wife Agnes von Sachsen-Lauenburg.

In 1413 he was betrothed to Margarete von Brandenburg , a daughter of the future Elector Friedrich I of Brandenburg.

Wartislaw was in the retinue of King Sigismund in Nuremberg in September 1414 and took part in his coronation in Aachen in November 1414.

Wartislaw died between November 1414 and August 1415, at least before his father, so that he did not come to the government.
