The former wash house, now a kindergarten

The wash house (French lavoir ) in Villabé , a French commune in the Essonne department of the Île-de-France region , was built in 1898.

The former wash house at No. 9, rue Jean-Jaurès, was built after the municipal water supply had been established and was used until 1971. Then the building was converted into a kindergarten , which opened in 1998.
