Device to adjust the wooden floor to the water level

The wash house (French lavoir ) in Boussy-Saint-Antoine , a French commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the 19th century.

The public wash house on Rue du Moulin neuf, right next to the old bridge over the River Yerres , is the only remaining wash house in the municipality. The building rubble masonry is of a gabled roof covered.

The device to adjust the wooden floor to the water level is still there.
