Wash house in Limours

The wash house (French lavoir ) in Limours , a French commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in 1870.

The public wash house by a pond is also known as the Lavoir du Cormier , after the Le Cormier residential area .

The building, made of quarry stone masonry and a gable roof, has a device to adjust the wooden floor to the water level.
