The wash house (French lavoir ) in La Ferté-Alais , a French commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the mid-19th century.

The public wash house near Boulevard de la Gâtine was used until the 1970s. The laundry was first washed in the Essonne River and then rinsed in a water basin fed by a well.
